Do You Know The Types of LCD Screen

2020-08-26

LCD screen is suitable for many devices because of its low power consumption and clear process. It has been loved by many consumers once it came out. A liquid crystal display product is mainly divided into several aspects in structure. The casing, liquid crystal panel, interface circuit board, and power circuit board seem to be simple, but according to different uses and positioning, there will be different types of divisions. The three common screens on the market are TN screen, IPS screen, and VA screen.

1.TN screen
The advantage of the TN panel is that because the number of output gray levels is small, the deflection speed of liquid crystal molecules is fast, and the response time is easy to improve. Therefore, the advantages of TN screen are extremely short response time and low price. Due to low production costs, TN screen has become the most widely used entry-level LCD panel, and is widely used in mainstream low-end LCD displays on the market.

2.IPS screen
The biggest feature of IPS screen is that its two poles are on the same surface, unlike other liquid crystal mode electrodes which are arranged on the upper and lower sides, three-dimensionally. Therefore, it will not produce picture distortion and affect the picture color, and the picture effect can be protected to the greatest extent from being damaged. When consumers enjoy high-speed motion pictures for a long time, the IPS hard screen can guarantee clear, smooth and real effects, and the stimulation to the eyes is significantly reduced, which fully meets the requirements of health. IPS screen is mainly used in high-definition and high-performance LCD TVs, as well as in aerospace, medical, design and communication industries.

3.VA screen
VA screen is a panel type with more high-end LCD applications, and belongs to a wide viewing angle panel. It belongs to an 8-bit panel. The advantage is that it has a large viewing angle, which is convenient for multiple people to watch the screen at the same time. In addition, it also has a relatively high contrast ratio, and its text display is particularly clear. It is mostly used in high-end commercial LCD displays.
